“Laser cleaning — I had unrealistic expectations.
I am happy with the laser machine and quality. I wish I got the laser cleaning head, not the welding head with the adapter to laser clean — not as good, and I go through protection lenses every 4 hours of laser cleaning run time @1500W (something seems wrong tho).

Also this doesn't replace sandblasting in most cases, I hoped it would. Laser is best for cleaning light rust or heavy paint. I wish it would remove millscale and welding BB's like sandblasting.”

Laser cannot fully replace sandblasting for:

• Heavy mill scale

• Welding BBs / spatter removal

• Deep surface profiling

• Large-area industrial surface roughening
